If you or a family member have had care at NHRMC that caused harm or distress you should report it.
Start by calling the patient advocates at the Hospital to file a grievance. Call 910 667-7000 and ask for the patient advocate. Usually you will need to leave a voice message and they will call you back. Tell them you want to file a written grievance. They are required to give you a written response within 30 days.
You should also file a complaint with the hospital accreditation company at: hospitalcomplaint@dnv.com. The process all online and is easy to complete. You can remain anonymous.
If you are insured by Medicare, you can file a grievance directly with Medicare. The only process is all online and easy to complete.
If you believe the injury was due to malpractice or unethical behavior by a Physician of Physician Assistant, you should file a grievance directly with the North Carolina Medical Board. Should prepare a letter to submit to them with all the details as best you can recall them.

Volunteer from the comfort of your home.
Currently, we are seeking a volunteer to facilitate outreach efforts with community agencies and politicians. This role involves scheduling appointments to address community groups and engage in one-on-one meetings with elected officials. Since we do not have a physical office, this volunteer opportunity allows you to work remotely from the comfort of your home.
